Interesting seaside resort and fishing port. Pleasurewood american theme park is just 1 mile up the coast at corton,”WHERE THE BROADS MEETS THE SEA” lovely oulton broad is adjoined by the nicholas everitt park,and boats,cruisers ect can be hired. Speedboat racing on the broad every thursday evening during the season.
Wroxham (15 miles)
The centre and the heart of the broadland. There is a great variety of boats,cruisers and yachts for hire. Trips on the river steamers can be arranged at the booking offices near the bridge. Ray’s famous stores can be found at the centre of wroxham,almost every thing can be obtained there.
Norwich (15 miles)
Capital city of east anglia, with impressive castle dungeons,norman cathedral and many other historic buildings and churches. Excellent shopping centre and large 6 day market. Travel by train from gt yarmouth to get lovely veiws on your journey and easy access to the city.
