As you drive onto the the Winterton estate the first thing that you notice will be the peace and quiet. There are no pubs clubs and shops just wonderful views out to sea.The park has its own access down to the valley and onto the beach. No roads to cross so safe for children and dogs.
The beach and the valley are ideal for dog walking pets are very welcome on this site. There is a large grass expanse at the front of the site ideal for playing games. The village of Winterton is a short walk north of the site where you will find well stocked shops and a post office. Excellent food is served in the 300 year old pub which is also dog friendly.
The Dune cafe is right on the sea front and a short walk to the south of the site takes you to Long Beach. Here you will find a laundry and the Dolphin Club House which serves meals all day and entertainment at night.
Should you wish to take in some shows or browse around a large shopping area Great Yarmouth is only 8 miles away. Ten mins in the car towards Potter Heigham you will find yourself in the Norfolk Broads. Ideal for hiring a boat or fishing.
Seals can be seen at Winterton beach, as there main breeding ground is near horsey beach which is only 3 miles north of our location. There is also a Seal hospital in Winterton village, open to the public on Sundays and well worth a visit.
